Makoki International Hub is an organization committed to promoting human rights through education, research, and advocacy. It works to foster a human rights culture and strengthen accountability within public and private institutions serving the public interest in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Great Lakes region. The organization was founded on the observation that many institutions struggle to integrate a human rights-based approach into their planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.

Building on this foundation is the multidisciplinary expertise of a dedicated team, composed of professionals from diverse backgrounds – legal, educational, social, and political – enhancing the organization's ability to design and implement effective, tailored actions.
